Just a quick post today! I thought I’d share with you an embroidery I designed for a bride earlier this year. The great part of my job is working closely with my brides and to design their “dream dress”. This bride wanted to incorporate birds, rainbows, hearts and possibly a My Little Pony! onto a 1950s styled dress.
So I went to work and designed her an embroidery using brightly coloured threads to go onto a beautiful red grosgrain moire fabric.
In addition to the embroideries I stitched a sequinned Loveheart onto the midriff of the dress.
To bring out the colours I also made a brightly coloured petticoat to be worn underneath the dress. The net colours were red, fusia pink and yellow!
…and her she is! Looking great on her wedding day in Brighton.
