It’s been a while since I posted here! Home life seems have to taken over, but I have been working on a range of patterns that I will be releasing very soon as PDF patterns.
Being a ‘one woman band’ so to speak, it is a long process to create a pattern and turn it into a PDF pattern along with instructions etc, but I’m getting there!
So…I have now have now perfected the pattern and it’s been sent out to ‘testers’. Hopefully now it’ll be ready to go soon!
I have photographed the skirt in this wonderful fabric that I Bought from Guthrie and Ghani, it now looks was if it has been sold out though. It is a linen and viscose blend, which has a fantastic drape and is wonderful to sew!
So I shall through out a question to you all out there…once the pattern is realised should I do a video on how to make it? (it will come with fully illustrated instructions with the PDF pattern) or do you prefer a blog with hints on how to sew? Would love to know your thoughts on what helps you sew when you are sewing your clothes.
Being an experienced dressmaker I sometimes forget the things I find easy, that others might not! Though I do have to say I never stop learning and I love nothing more than getting my hands on an old vintage sewing book and reading on how to sew more authentically.
Below a recap of the skirt that I posted a while ago!
I shall let you know the links on how to get the pattern in a later post, but I promise I won’t stay away for so long this time!
Here’s a sneak peek of the front cover…
If you want to alerted first when this pattern is released please email me at email@example.com and I’ll be sure to let you know!
Bye for now and see you all soon! Lisa x
